Steve Kohls focuses on sales and leasing services for office, commercial land and new development projects. Steve began his commercial brokerage career in 1999 and has been an agent to over $350 million in commercial real estate lease and sales transactions, representing a wide variety of clients. His broad experience includes the advisory and representation of office and healthcare space occupiers, as well as providing consultation and brokerage services for large commercial property owners and developers.
Of note, Steve has been instrumental in the representation of several Class-A office parks and mixed- use development projects, comprising nearly 5 million square feet of new and planned commercial product:

He has significant expertise and success in navigating and structuring complex transactions, leading multi-party negotiations and closing creative deals. His unique areas of expertise include the identification and brokerage of property “value-add,” “off-market” and new development opportunities. A consummate client advocate and seasoned advisor, he is relationship-driven and takes a different strategic approach to every opportunity and challenge.
After falling in love with Colorado on an extended fly fishing trip, Steve moved to the Colorado Springs area with his family in 2014. Prior to joining Colorado Springs Commercial, Steve was a Vice President at CBRE and a Shareholder/Principal at Lee & Associates Arizona, where he was an office broker for 12 years. Beginning as a “runner,” Steve was granted the opportunity to produce his own book of business and became the youngest agent to achieve the title of Shareholder/Principal with Lee & Associates. He also served on numerous internal committees and became the youngest Shareholder/Principal to be nominated and elected to serve on the Board of Directors (2010-2011). Before joining Lee & Associates, Steve spent his first three years of commercial brokerage at a national tenant representation firm.
