LaShawn Bates provides analytical and marketing support to C&W’s Tampa and Orlando offices. As an in-house resource, Ms. Bates provides financial expertise and analyses including valuation and cash flow projections, lease vs. buy decision models, sale/leaseback structures, joint venture structures as well as the related financial statement and tax implications. As required by the assignment, Ms. Bates interacts with client finance and accounting personnel and their advisors to customize analyses to assist clients in their decision making process for real estate transactions.
Ms. Bates joined C&W in March 2008. Prior to joining C&W, Ms. Bates was a Senior Loan Analyst with KeyBank Real Estate Capital. In this role, Ms. Bates provided underwriting and deal structuring support, modeled various property types according to value and created cash flow analyses in order to appropriately size loans. During her 10-year tenure with KeyBank Real Estate Capital, Ms. Bates also held the positions of Closing Coordinator and Quality Control Reviewer. Ms. Bates attended Park University in Kansas City, Missouri and is currently pursuing her Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation.
