Wendy Qiu joined Cushman & Wakefield formerly Massey Knakal in 2014 as an Associate. She works alongside Executive Vice President Benjamin Fox.
Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, Wendy was a director at The Conrad Group, concentrating on Boston’s south market. She initiated the retail division developing strong relationships with landlords and tenants. Due to the small size of the firm she owned the entire sales and leasing process, representing tenants and landlords in financial analyses, site evaluations, and lease negotiations. Within just over a years’ time she secured exclusive listing agreements for over 500,000 square feet of retail property, and consummated the lease and sale of over $1 million in first years’ revenue for her clients. Ms. Qiu’s passion for retail, natural curiosity to explore and learn, and attention to detail, allow her for a knowledgeable and creative approach to landlord and tenant representation.
Earlier, Ms. Qiu was a research analyst at AIRINC in Cambridge, MA , where she performed primary and secondary research on executive-style housing markets, developing relationships with realtors across 30 unique cities in the US and Canada. After in depth research and analysis of economic conditions of each city, she constructed and presented reports for Fortune 500 clients.
A graduate of Bentley University, Ms. Qiu earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Marketing with a Minor in Psychology, where she was a member of the President’s List, and a member of Alpha Phi. Ms. Qiu studied abroad for a semester in Milan, while traveling throughout Europe. She is fluent in Cantonese, intermediate in Mandarin, and studying Italian.
