Mr. Hartman has been involved in more than 10 million square feet of leasing and sale transactions during the past 24 years including the National Deal of the Year Award for the MONY Headquarters consolidation in New York City. His clients include Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Inc., Eli Lilly, Pfizer, Roche, Kadmon Pharmaceuticals, NYU Neuroscience Institute, M&T Bank, NASDAQ, Madison Square Garden, Marsh, Inc., AIG, Aegon USA, American General Financial Group, Mutual of New York, IBM, Diversified Investment Advisors, Physician's Health Services of New York, Fairmont Hotels, Mercer, Liberty Mutual, MCI WorldCom, MasterCard and MVP Health plans.
Mr. Hartman's professional background includes successfully obtaining his CPA while an auditor at Touche Ross & Co. where he serviced a multitude of clients. Subsequently, he worked as a financial analyst for Morgan Guaranty where he analyzed and reported to senior management the interest rate risk of the then emerging derivatives portfolio. Mr. Hartman was an instructor at the firms training program where he taught senior level executives the risks and advantages of these emerging products.

Mr. Hartman is a 1989 MBA graduate of the New York University Stern School of Business. He is an active fund raiser for American Red Cross and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and is personally involved with programs and fund raising for the Children’s Scholarship Fund, a program that provides a top quality education to underprivileged at risk inner city kids. He is on the Advisory Boards of Mt. Sinai Medical Center and SUNY Oswego Business School.

River. Successfully leased-up 320,000 square foot first phase in arguably the worst real estate environment since the great depression in a yet to be established cluster/market for life science companies. Continued creating New York City as a world class life science hub with the Roche lease signing and construction of the 410,000 square foot west tower.
Tenant representation in completing a complex 100,000 SF renegotiation requiring creation and realization of phantom space for
bank’s growth that the Landlord was not even aware. Negotiated the relocation of two existing tenants and the termination of expansion
options with a third tenant to create growth space required for the bank’s growing operations.
