Canada Data Center Update - Summer 2020

The two major Canadian data center markets had impressive starts to the year, with Toronto reaching its best half of absorption on record and Montreal with its best half in three years. Several operators are underway on new expansion in Toronto, with vacancy dropping to a Northern Virginia-level 6%. New cloud services abound in both markets, and a large telecom-centric portfolio has signed to change hands shortly.

Asia Pacific Data Centre Update | Spring/summer 2020

Telecoms, operators, and REITs are adding half a gigawatt of capacity across major markets in Asia, with development undeterred by COVID-19. Singapore and Sydney, in particular, retain interest for regional cloud deployments and several new subsea cables will be connecting East Asia to Australia, India, the United States, and other locations by 2022.
