Myeongdong, the Center of the Korean Wave
Myeongdong is one of the world's most famous attractions. It is a representative shopping place in Seoul where foreign tourists, such as Chinese and Japanese, must visit at least once. No matter what street or avenue you walk, you can see at a glance that famous franchise stores and restaurants are full of people. Also, the delicacy of Myeongdong is street food. From spicy chicken skewers to butter-grilled lobster, Myeongdong brings a great fun just by walking down the street. On the other hand, Namdaemun Market, which comes a little past Myeongdong, is the largest traditional market in Seoul and is always crowded with people as foreign tourists can have a unique experience.
