Mr. Vazquez is a Senior Director of Cushman and Wakefield’s Global Hospitality team. His primary responsibilities include the origination and execution of hotel investment sales, debt financings, and note sales. 

Mr. Vazquez has overseen the successful completion of over $4.0 billion in lodging transactions across 30+ states throughout the country. His wide-ranging deal exposure comprised mid-size to large transactions for both single asset and portfolio transactions involving hotels across all market segments and asset classes, including full-service, limited-service, extended-stay, luxury, boutique, and resort properties.  

Several notable transactions in which he was involved include the sales of the Conrad Chicago, the Tudor Hotel NYC, the Sheraton Gunter in San Antonio, and the Queen & Crescent in New Orleans; and the financings of the Fairmont Washington, D.C., the Drake Chicago, and the Paramount Hotel in Times Square.  

Prior to joining C&W, Mr. Vazquez served nine years as Managing Director of NAI Global (a subsidiary of C-III Capital Partners) and head of the firm’s national hotel capital markets practice. He also held senior level positions at the investment banking firms Savills LLC and Sonnenblick-Goldman. 

Prior to his career in real estate, Mr. Vazquez worked in various facets of the hotel industry including revenue management at the corporate headquarters of Loews Hotels in New York City and in hotel operations at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.  

Mr. Vazquez received a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University’s School of Hotel Administration. He is an active member of the Cornell Hotel Society and the Latino Hotel Association.
