Cushman & Wakefield Welcomes Yasushi Otomo as Head of Project & Development Services in Japan

Cushman & Wakefield, a leading global real estate services firm has appointed Yasushi Otomo as the Head of Project & Development Services (PDS) in Japan, effective today. 

In Yasushi’s new role, he will be responsible for expanding the firm’s service offerings to drive business growth within PDS in Japan. He will also be working closely with other service lines such as Asset Management and Tenant Advisory Group to capture rising demand from our investor and occupier client base to help them make informed decisions on capital works programs, commercial fit-outs, principal contracting, project and construction management and design & workplace services.

Yasushi reports to Tom Gibson, Head of Project & Development Services, APAC, Cushman & Wakefield. said: “It gives me great pleasure to welcome Yasushi to this key leadership role that will have a significant bearing on the future success of both our Japan business and the PDS businesses. With twenty years of experience in project and construction management, Yasushi specializes in large scale office relocation, fitout and rollout projects for multinational companies. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Yasushi was a Project Delivery Director at WeWork Japan where he oversaw the entire process and expansion of WeWork’s project delivery to thirty-eight locations. 

Yasushi’s impressive track record also includes successfully implementing project management services for key clients in the construction and telecommunication industries as a Senior Project Manager at Lendlease Japan.  

Yasushi holds a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction and Contracting from Georgia Southern University, and is an Assistant Certified Construction Manager of Japan, LEED Building Design + Construction, Accredited Professional.
