BRUSSELS, October 3, 2017 – Cushman & Wakefield announced today the acquisition of ADMOS, the leading Design & Build practice and new-ways-of-working trendsetter in Belgium and Luxembourg.
The acquisition of ADMOS will have an immediate, positive impact on Cushman & Wakefield’s northern European business and gives its clients access to a new service: best-in-class expertise on creating workplaces that enhance productivity and support new patterns of working.
Established by architects Anthony Shaikh and Christophe Erkens, ADMOS has built an outstanding reputation, working with clients from all sectors including Google, Dimension Data and BMW. It will be integrated into Cushman & Wakefield to give clients a ‘turnkey’ – or single provider – option alongside existing project management and consultancy services depending on their individual requirements.
Koen Nevens, Head of Belgium and the Northern Europe region at Cushman & Wakefield, said: “As the workplace revolution gathers pace, many corporate clients not only want our advice on how to optimise their workplaces – but also an in-house Design & Build solution that turns the idea into reality. We can now offer that to clients as part of our range of services. We are already the market leader for Office Agency in Brussels and as a result of this significant investment we are now the market leader for Design & Build too.”
Anthony Shaikh, co-founder of ADMOS, said: “We are very excited about this next phase of our development which gives us the opportunity to combine our already successful business with Cushman & Wakefield’s global scale. We are proud of our reputation for helping clients create unique workplaces that inspire and engage, and we are delighted to join forces with such a forward-looking firm.”
John Forrester, EMEA Chief Executive of Cushman & Wakefield, said: “The impact of the physical workplace on business performance is now a critical consideration for both occupiers and landlords. This investment gives our clients a creative Design & Build option backed by accountability and strong corporate governance. We will continue to strengthen our capabilities across EMEA to ensure we have the best people and platform to deliver outstanding results for our clients.”
