Cushman & Wakefield helps Swiss Post install its new technology hub in Lisbon
12/09/2023
As announced earlier this year, Swiss Post - a group that operates in the communications, logistics, financial retail and passenger transport markets - has opened an information technology (IT) campus in Lisbon that provides support center services for the headquarters in Bern. The 700 m2 space is located in the Castilho 2 building and in the first phase will receive around 50 employees, with the aim of increasing this number to 150.
Cushman & Wakefield was responsible for monitoring the project and safety coordination on site, and according to Ana Pereira, architect and responsible for the HS area in the Project & Development Services department at Cushman & Wakefield: “the main challenge of the project was to plan, execute and open the first SWISS POST office in Portugal in 20 weeks, with special attention to corporate brand image, collaborative and social spaces in addition to sustainability. This office will be a reference for the company’s remaining projects in the rest of the world.”
Nuno Pedro, CEO of Swiss Post I/T Portugal commented “The end result is an extremely functional office and a reference for the future, with Cushman & Wakefield playing an important role in terms of monitoring and safety at work, during the period of execution of the work.”
