Cushman & Wakefield announces the promotion of four team members to the level of Associate within its structure in Portugal: André Esteves, Diogo Lopo, Maria João Pinto, and Rui Rodrigues.
André Esteves holds a degree and a master’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, and has also completed an executive program in Leadership and Innovation at NOVA School of Business and Economics, along with other training in Facilities Management and Health & Safety. He joined C&W’s Asset Services team in 2023, where he is responsible for managing a portfolio of office buildings owned by the German fund MEAG. Previously, he worked at several companies including Teleperformance, TDGI, and Deloitte.
Diogo Lopo holds a degree and a master’s in Industrial Engineering and Management from Instituto Superior Técnico and has a postgraduate degree in Real Estate Management and Valuation from the Lisbon School of Economics and Management (ISEG) at the University of Lisbon. He joined C&W’s Capital Markets (Investment) department in 2020, focusing on office and logistics sectors, supporting investors throughout the entire transaction process, from due diligence to deal completion. In 2024, he was appointed Head of Industrial & Logistics Investment, a sector he has been exclusively dedicated to since 2023. Before joining C&W, he worked as an Investment Analyst at Fidelidade Property, focusing on financial analysis and asset management.
Maria João Pinto holds a law degree from Universidade Portucalense and recently completed a postgraduate degree in real estate management at Porto Business School. Based in C&W’s Porto office, she joined the offices department in 2022, focusing on the northern region market, where she was responsible for brokering various transactions for both national and international occupiers and landlords. Before joining the consultancy, she practiced law and held leadership roles in business groups related to the Out of Home, NPLs, and real estate development sectors.
Rui Rodrigues, who joined the consultancy in 2016, holds a degree in Architecture from Universidade Lusíada and a master’s in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. He also completed an executive program in Sales Strategy & Business Development at NOVA School of Business and Economics. He has been a member of the Portuguese Order of Architects since 2014 and has undertaken multiple technical courses in architecture and project management. From 2016 to 2024, he worked as an architect and project manager. In 2024, he assumed responsibility for Business Development within the Project & Development Services department at C&W, where he leads the acquisition of new design and architecture projects, project management, Design & Build, among others. Prior to joining C&W, he worked at several firms including Broadway Malyan and Capinha Lopes.
