Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) was responsible for the design and execution of the Design & Build project for the new Pictet Technologies office at IDB Lisbon – Innovation & Design Building Lisbon. The project included architectural design, electrical systems, security, communications, HVAC systems, full construction execution, and furniture implementation.
Pictet Technologies, a cutting-edge financial technology software firm exclusively serving the Swiss Pictet Group, will occupy the entire 5th floor of IDB Lisbon, totaling over 2,600 m². Founded in 2016, the company operates from Luxembourg and Lisbon, and this move marks a strategic step in strengthening its presence in the Portuguese capital.
IDB Lisbon, owned by Jamestown, is a landmark building located in the eastern part of the city near Parque das Nações. It stands out for its modern facilities and its entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystem, with a special focus on the arts and new technologies.
“This is Pictet Technologies’ first office in Portugal, developed according to the high standards applied by the Bank across Europe. The space was carefully designed to reflect the company’s values, incorporating biophilic elements, entertainment zones, and optimized acoustics, creating an environment that promotes exceptional employee well-being. Every detail was considered to provide an inspiring, comfortable, and productive work experience, reinforcing Pictet’s commitment to excellence and innovation,” said Ricardo Passarinho, Senior Project Manager in the Project & Development Services (PDS) department.
“We had already supported Pictet Technologies in the leasing process for this new space, and it is with great satisfaction that we now complete another stage of this trusted partnership, through the creation of an office fully aligned with the company’s culture and goals,” he added.
The PDS department of Cushman & Wakefield Portugal has over 20 years of experience in the Portuguese market and has delivered projects for clients such as Cofidis, Bayer, Sky, Alcon, AM Alpha, Arvato, Huawei, Saint Julians, among many others. This project is a prime example of their integrated Design & Build approach — covering all phases from technical design to final delivery — with a constant focus on functionality, brand identity, and user well-being.
