Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) announces the pre-letting of two floors in the Boavista Office Building (BOB), in Porto, to the European group Altri – a leader in the renewable production of cellulosic fibers.
The company has also awarded Cushman & Wakefield the Design & Build project for its new premises, which is currently underway.
The Boavista Office Building (BOB) is a fully refurbished office building located on the prestigious Avenida da Boavista, in Porto. Designed by architect Adriano Pimenta and scheduled for completion in March 2026, it combines modernity, flexibility, and efficiency, offering versatile spaces for companies seeking a central and well-connected location.
With eight office floors, BOB offers areas ranging from 150 to 400 sq m, ideal for small and medium-sized businesses. The offices feature high-quality finishes, abundant natural light, and the possibility of customized layouts. The building also includes underground parking and a privileged surrounding area, with access to public transport, hotels, gyms, restaurants, and essential services. In addition to its modern design, BOB stands out for its commitment to sustainability, as it is applying for LEED certification.
Altri is a leading European company in the cellulosic fibers sector and forest management. It manages more than 100,000 hectares of certified forest and transforms eucalyptus wood into fibers at its three industrial units, with an annual capacity of over 1.1 million tons. Alongside the production of cellulosic fibers used in various tissue products, Altri also produces sustainable fibers used in the manufacturing of hundreds of everyday items—from textiles and smartphone/TV screens to medication or food coatings, among many other applications.
“The result of a profound rehabilitation, BOB stands out as a rare opportunity in the office market, combining high quality, prime location, and smaller floor areas—a combination that is scarce in this part of the city. The presence of companies like Altri validates the building’s excellent positioning and profile,” says Maria João Pinto, Associate, Head of Office Agency Porto.
The building is being exclusively marketed by Cushman & Wakefield.
