Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) announces the placement of Bottega Veneta on Avenida da Liberdade – the Italian luxury brand’s first standalone street store in Portugal. The brand occupies number 224 on the Avenue, in a space of approximately 200 sqm, owned by Pontegadea.
Founded in 1966 in Vicenza, Italy, Bottega Veneta is an exclusive fashion brand belonging to the luxury group Kering. Inspired by Italian culture but with a global perspective, the brand is defined by a distinct and refined attitude, offering products that include ready-to-wear clothing, handbags, shoes, accessories, jewelry, and fragrances.
The brand now joins Avenida da Liberdade alongside other brands from the Kering universe, such as Yves Saint Laurent and Gucci. Kering’s portfolio also includes other renowned names, namely Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Brioni, Boucheron, Pomellato, DoDo, Qeelin, Ginori 1735, Kering Eyewear, and Kering Beauté.
Maria José Almeida, Associate at Cushman & Wakefield, stated: “We are very pleased to welcome the first street store of Bottega Veneta in Portugal to the prestigious Avenida da Liberdade. This location, which already hosts other flagship brands from the group, such as Saint Laurent and Gucci, once again establishes itself as the destination of choice for luxury brands in Lisbon. Having another brand of this calibre is extraordinary and further strengthens the Avenue’s positioning as a space of excellence, sophistication, and exclusivity.”
