Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) announces the leasing of a retail unit at the Bonjardim complex, located on Rua de Sá da Bandeira, to the Portuguese menswear brand DAZZ. The store will occupy 128 sqm.
This transaction contributes to the project’s full occupancy, with Cushman & Wakefield advising Square Asset Management, manager of the Property Core Real Estate Fund, which owns Bonjardim’s retail units.
Comprising 16 retail units spread across iconic streets such as Rua de Sá da Bandeira and Rua Formosa, Bonjardim is a development by Avenue and stands out as one of the most emblematic urban regeneration projects in Porto’s city centre. The project has received several real estate industry awards, including the SIL Award 2024 in the Urban Rehabilitation category and the National Real Estate Award 2025 in the Northern Housing category.
The complex also benefits from a strategic location next to Bolhão Market, between Rua de Santa Catarina and Avenida dos Aliados. It includes a parking facility with direct access to the retail area, providing added convenience and comfort for visitors.
“The arrival of DAZZ at Bonjardim strengthens its tenant mix, now reaching 100% occupancy, by introducing a retail component that was previously absent from the complex. This further enhances the commercial offering in one of Porto’s most iconic and dynamic areas. Predominantly occupied by leading brands such as the Cosentino City Porto showroom, Continente supermarket, and food and beverage operators including Starbucks, Brunchit, and Jeronymo, Bonjardim continues to establish itself as a consolidated retail destination in the city centre,” said Susana Pires, Senior Retail Consultant at Cushman & Wakefield.
DAZZ’s arrival at Bonjardim marks the opening of the brand’s first store in Porto and forms part of its growth strategy. Positioned within the accessible premium segment, DAZZ combines classic elegance, contemporary design, and Portuguese manufacturing.
