district.space is a network created to connect productivity, community, and purpose. More than just a coworking space, it provides an ecosystem of offices, coworking areas, meeting rooms, and event spaces where professionals and organizations can work, collaborate, and contribute to a positive impact on cities.
With capacity for approximately 150 workstations, the space was designed to encourage collaboration among “districteers”, district.space members, and foster synergies between companies, startups, institutions, and organizations, with the shared goal of positioning work as a true driver of transformation and urban transition. The venue includes 25 private offices ranging from 15 to 23 sqm, four meeting rooms, including one with capacity for 12 people. It also features several lounge areas designed both for relaxation and social interaction, as well as focused work and collaboration.
“We are very pleased to be part of the district.space project, contributing to the development of a high-quality flex office that is modern, functional, and fully aligned with today’s market requirements. This space was designed to offer versatility, efficiency, and a premium workplace experience, meeting the new dynamics of occupancy, collaboration, and flexibility that define corporate environments,” comments Ricardo Passarinho, Head of Build at Cushman & Wakefield.
“At Getin, we see comfort as one of the key elements in workplace design. We spend a significant part of our day at work and believe the workplace should provide a welcoming and comfortable experience. This principle guided the development of the project, influencing the selection of materials, colors, and textures, as well as the creation of different environments and the overall spatial experience. From the outset, we developed an interior architecture program tailored to district.space’s identity and objectives, seeking to balance functionality, comfort, and character while creating a contemporary and sophisticated yet informal and welcoming space, designed for new ways of working, collaborating, and building communities,” state Joana Conceição and Teresa Amorim, Partners at Getin.
“This space represents our ambition for Lisbon: to create a true hub of productivity, community, and purpose, within a building and location that meet the expectations of the corporate market,” says Bárbara Bouçon, Director of district.space.
The opening of this venue follows the successful first year of operations of the brand, which until now had only one location in Setúbal. Its arrival in the capital marks a new phase in the company’s expansion strategy, aimed at attracting a more institutional and corporate profile while maintaining its commitment to collaborative work environments with a strong focus on social impact. The brand plans to open one additional location in Portugal before the end of 2026.
