Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) advised on the sale of a building located on Rua Arco do Cego, in central Lisbon, in a transaction between a private entity, acting as the purchaser, and a family, the seller of the asset.
Located in the Campo Pequeno area, the property is a residential building comprising approximately 1,000 sq m, currently divided into six apartments. The building was designed by architect Silvestre da Motta. The new owner plans to refurbish the property through a redevelopment and value-enhancement project. Its central location, excellent accessibility and quick connections to key areas of the city, together with a well-established surrounding area offering retail and services, further strengthen the appeal of the investment.
"We are very pleased with this transaction, which highlights Cushman & Wakefield’s ability to advise on deals of different sizes. This transaction demonstrates that we continue to create value for our clients, even with smaller-scale assets located in strategic areas of Lisbon," commented João Maria Costa, Consultant in the Development Department at Cushman & Wakefield.
In this transaction, Cushman & Wakefield was appointed on an exclusive basis to market the property and managed the entire process, from marketing strategy and negotiations through to identifying the buyer and successfully completing the transaction.
