Experience per SF

Experience per SF™ is Cushman & Wakefield’s proprietary tool that gives you insight into the engagement and experience of your workforce.

At Cushman & Wakefield, we're continually developing our Total Workplace services to create tools that help our clients succeed.

Experience per SF™ (XSF) is just one example. It’s a proprietary tool that statistically uncovers real estate and workplace metrics relating to your employees’ engagement and experience.

With the onset of the pandemic, Cushman & Wakefield pivoted to help our clients by redeveloping our product—as XSF@home—to measure the experience and performance of their workforce as they shifted to work from home. As many companies are finding their working environments altered for good, XSF is again keeping pace.

XSF 2.0 is a proprietary, data-driven tool to give employers the answers they need now.

PROBLEM  XSF 2.0 SOLUTION
Disruption
The pandemic has disrupted the workplace, perhaps for good.
XSF@Home showed us that the workplace changed. As time has passed, employees are experiencing new challenges. XSF informs clients of the employee experience and new priority actions.
Urgent Yet Uncertain
Employers are ready to act, but don't know how.
XSF provides the insight on what's working and what's not. Insight informs needed actions to begin the journey to performance.
Diagnose & Plan
Create plans based on pressures for the future workplace.
XSF provides the planning parameters for work styles in the future workplace and insight on how people will work in the company ecosystem. Online results are at the client's fingertips via dashboards. Customizations are available for a fee.

By scoring your employees’ workplace experience and benchmarking performance, you’ll gain valuable insights you can act on to improve the employee experience. XSF helps you:

Retain employees and attract top talent
In highly competitive labor markets, winning the war for talent often means the difference between a business thriving or just surviving. Leveraging your workspace effectively will give you a leg up.

Improve operational efficiency
You’ll have a solid business case to make strategic moves quicker and with more assurance.

Improve employee engagement
Our repeatable, data-rich process will allow you to measure the impact of actions taken and drive employee engagement.

Bolster employee productivity
Our program allows you to identify under-engaged employees by market, job function, business unit or any other factor to target your actions to the areas that will have the greatest impact on productivity.

Increase the bottom line
Driving the optimal employee engagement platform also includes identifying over-performing areas and redistributing those funds to areas that will drive financial results.

XSF has captured more than 2.5 million data points from workers all over the globe in the pre-COVID-19 era and a further 3 million data points from more than 60,000 respondents in the current work from home environment. With this data, Cushman & Wakefield has developed a report that provides insight into the future workplace.
