Cushman & Wakefield and another consultancy announce the placement of the Paul & Shark brand at the Liberdade 242 building, right on Avenida da Liberdade in Lisbon. In this operation, C&W represented the building’s owner, the Swiss fund AFIAA, while the other consultancy acted on behalf of the retailer, Paul & Shark, represented by Gateleven in Portugal.
Founded in 1975 by Paolo Dini, the company will occupy an area of 190 m² on the ground floor of the building, which was recently awarded BREEAM In-Use certification, adding another store to their portfolio of over 280 spread across various continents.
According to Maria José Almeida, Associate and luxury retail specialist at Cushman & Wakefield Portugal, "Luxury brands are increasingly looking for opportunities to establish themselves in Portugal, and Avenida da Liberdade is clearly the location of choice.
