The new facility, owned by Montepino, is located on one of the largest plots of the Castanheira do Ribatejo Platform, which comprises 324,000 m² of urbanized area, of which 105,500 m² are allocated to Leroy Merlin. Strategically positioned at the junction of the A1 (Lisbon-Porto) and A10 (Lisbon-Spain-Algarve) motorways, this location is considered the starting point for distribution logistics in Portugal. The region concentrates more than 68% of the logistics park of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, which represents over 80% of the national total.
The infrastructure of this logistics center includes 10 specialized operational cells and features approximately 5,000 m² of office space, as well as support areas such as a cafeteria and gym.
