Cushman & Wakefield Korea Signs Strategic Partnership Agreement with Lotte Property & Development… Expanding Collaboration on Landmark Asset Services
Strengthening Collaboration in Asset Management, Leasing Advisory, Consulting, and Investment Advisory
Cushman & Wakefield Korea announced that it has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with Lotte Property & Development to expand cooperation in property management and real estate advisory services for major landmark assets and large-scale mixed-use facilities in Korea.
Through this agreement, the two companies plan to establish a collaborative framework across various fields - including property management, leasing advisory, real estate consulting, and buy-sell advisory - with a focus on large-scale office and commercial mixed-use complexes. Additionally, leveraging their respective expertise and networks, they plan to jointly identify new business opportunities and provide clients with more comprehensive and differentiated real estate services.
Lotte Property & Development is expanding its business scope into the real estate asset management market outside the Lotte Group, leveraging the asset management expertise it has accumulated through the direct development and operation of Lotte World Tower and Lotte World Mall. The company currently provides PM services for major prime office assets such as Pangyo H-Square and Ark Place and possesses operational know-how for mixed-use facilities both domestically and internationally, including experience managing the Lotte Center Hanoi in Vietnam.
Cushman & Wakefield provides integrated real estate services to clients based on its global network and capabilities in asset management, leasing advisory, and investment advisory. Through this agreement, the two companies plan to jointly identify new business opportunities and expand their collaboration to enhance client value.
In particular, the two companies will collaborate to strengthen operational competitiveness and enhance the value of large-scale mixed-use assets, and plan to provide integrated real estate solutions—including leasing advisory, investment advisory, and consulting services—to asset owners and investors. This is expected to contribute to increasing clients’ asset value and strengthening their competitiveness in the market.
Richard Hwang, Managing Director of Cushman & Wakefield Korea, stated, “This agreement marks a meaningful starting point for combining the expertise and market experience of both companies to provide even greater value to our clients,” adding, “Based on Cushman & Wakefield’s global network and capabilities in asset management, leasing advisory, and investment advisory, we will continue to provide clients with more differentiated real estate solutions.”
Jang Jae-hoon, CEO of Lotte Property & Development, remarked, “Building on our experience and know-how in the development and operation of key assets, including Lotte World Tower, we will expand new business opportunities through our collaboration with Cushman & Wakefield Korea.” He added, “We will provide even more competitive services to our clients and contribute to the development of the domestic asset management market.”
Through this agreement, the two companies plan to jointly identify new asset management business opportunities while expanding the scope of their collaboration across various fields, including leasing advisory, consulting, and investment and M&A advisory services. They also plan to combine their respective expertise and networks to provide clients with more integrated and professional real estate services.
