A total of 30 CRE transactions were recorded in Q1 2026, with aggregate volume of approximately KRW4.9 trillion — down 41% q-o-q but up 27% y-o-y. In the office sector, the KRW1.3 trillion Seoul Square deal drove overall volume, with the CBD posting the highest transaction amount for a second consecutive quarter. The logistics sector contracted sharply, reflecting a normalization from the prior quarter's large-scale deal concentration, as selective demand for fully leased core assets persisted. Hotel transactions were evenly distributed across 2-, 3-, and 4-star categories, while retail volume more than tripled y-o-y, anchored by activity in the Gangnam and Seongsu districts.
