BROEKLIN Brussels, the future-ready city destination where sustainability, experience and innovation are key, announces the appointment of Cushman & Wakefield Retail as exclusive broker for the commercial leasing of the project. Kurth Marissens, Head of Shopping Centers in Belgium, and his team will oversee the strategic implementation of the retail ecosystem.
In order to realise BROEKLIN Brussels' forward-looking vision, the internal Uplace leasing team was already reinforced with Realfort in the last quarter of 2024. Partner Olaf Hoff became Uplace Director of Leasing Retail and Oscar Mastwijk joined the Uplace leasing team as Retail Leasing manager. They bring on board deep international experience in retail development and placemaking. Among other things, they were responsible for leasing the highly successful Mall of the Netherlands in The Hague.

Commercial pre-leasing was kicked off in March 2025. Construction will start in Q1 2026 and opening is scheduled for autumn 2028.
