12/02/2019

TOKYO, February 12, 2019 – Cushman & Wakefield, a global commercial real estate services firm, announced today that project and construction professional Todd Hanrahan joined the firm on February 1, 2019 to lead the Project & Development Services (PDS) in Japan as Senior Director, Head of Project & Development Services. Todd leads both the Construction Consulting and Project Management services, and works closely with Occupier Services businesses and clients for the growth of the PDS platform in Japan.

Todd joined from Fulton Hogan where he was the Chief Estimator for Major Projects, managing all pre-contract commercial and contractual elements for large-scale infrastructure tenders and technical proposals over the last five years with contract sums over $700million.  Prior to Fulton Hogan, he worked at Leighton International in commercial management roles for the regional business across India and South East Asia, based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Todd also spent a few years based in Jakarta, Indonesia as Senior Estimator and worked on large-scale projects focused in the building construction (base build + fit-out) and infrastructure (civil, marine, rail) sectors. Todd’s extensive career in the commercial construction and fit-out sector has led him to work in numerous geographical locations across New Zealand, South East Asia, the Pacific, and Australia.

Odysseus Markezinis, Chief Operating Officer, Occupier Services, Japan at Cushman & Wakefield said, “PDS has been identified as one of the growth engines and Japan is one of the core markets for Cushman & Wakefield in Asia Pacific. With his strong knowledge and experience in managing numerous concurrent projects and a deep understanding of commercial aspects, we see this as an invaluable capacity when looking after the capex spending of our clients. I am confident that Todd will be successful to lead our business, grow and enhance our capability and put our Clients at the center of What’s Next.”

Todd holds qualifications of NZQA Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Registered Quantity Surveyor in New Zealand and is a member of New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors.
