Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) advised on the opening of Pandora’s flagship store and first street-level store in Porto, located strategically at Rua de Santa Catarina (No. 397), next to one of the city’s most iconic tourist attractions, the Chapel of Souls. With 120 sqm – making it the largest store of the Danish jewelry brand in Portugal – this store also stands out for its design inspired by the city of Porto, a unique customization that serves as a tribute. The grand opening took place on July 11.
In 2024, Pandora opened its first street-level store in Portugal, in Lisbon. Until now, it was the largest in the country, with a total of 112 sqm spread over two floors. Currently, the brand, founded in Denmark in 1982, has 38 points of sale in the national market.
“We are very pleased to witness the opening of Pandora’s flagship store in Porto, on one of the country’s most emblematic and prestigious shopping streets. Rua de Santa Catarina is, by excellence, the commercial heart of the city, and this new store benefits from a unique location and visibility, next to the iconic Chapel of Souls, in a setting of high heritage and tourist value. This opening reinforces the dynamism of retail in the city and consolidates Porto as a strategic and essential destination for leading brands in the country. Cushman & Wakefield continues to contribute to the enhancement of Porto’s street retail through national and international brands,” says Susana Pires, Senior Retail Consultant at Cushman & Wakefield.
In this transaction, C&W represented the property owner in the lease of the store.
