01 The Opportunity
In 2018, a major technology organization appointed Cushman & Wakefield as its Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) provider for its key locations. The client’s portfolio includes offices, childcare centers, amenities facilities and associated real estate.
02 The Solution
Since the partnership kicked off, Cushman & Wakefield has made every effort to embrace, understand and facilitate the client’s goals, while creating a true alliance relationship between our mutual teams. To build a strong foundation, we have collaborated in several role-mapping exercises, as well as co-building processes and procedures. Exercises include:
- Building a change-management process that involved both members of the original client team and the new Cushman & Wakefield team to map out responsibilities for new roles and team members
- Working together with the client’s FM team and Cushman & Wakefield's communication's team to develop a website of helpful links and processes to facilitate the on-boarding of the new FM team
- Attending a weekly client-led Facilities Academy session (sometimes led jointly by Cushman & Wakefield) to cover FM education opportunities and roll out various processes
03 The Results
Both Cushman & Wakefield and the client understand the importance of empowering both teams to work as one cohesive team. We are proud of our partnership with the client and will continue to look for opportunities to strengthen our ties to deliver new efficiencies.
