Cushman & Wakefield mediates the Calenberger Esplanade in Hanover

International real estate consulting firm Cushman & Wakefield’s (C&W) Capital Markets National Investment Team Germany brokered the sale of "Calenberg Esplanade". The mixed-use building in Hanover was sold in the second quarter of 2020 to aik Immobilien-Investmentgesellschaft - real estate partner of professional pension funds.

The property was constructed in 1998 and accommodates some 20,000 m² of office, medical practice and retail space, 55 residential units and a 400-space underground car park. The tenants of the property include Jobcenter Region Hannover, the State of Lower Saxony, various group medical practices and an NP discount supermarket (Edeka).

The buyer, aik Immobilien-Investmentgesellschaft, is a real estate partner of professional pension funds.
