Jan-Peter Dähn joins the Office Capital Markets Düsseldorf team as a partner

Focus on the office and commercial property market in the Rhine metropolis and throughout North Rhine-Westphalia

Cushman & Wakefield is further expanding its investment advisory services in North Rhine-Westphalia. In January 2026, Jan-Peter Dähn will join the Office Capital Markets team in Düsseldorf as a partner. He will support investors and project developers in the office and commercial property sector in the state capital and throughout the state. Dähn will report to Daniel Sander, Head of Office Capital Markets Germany.

Dähn has many years of experience in the Düsseldorf and North Rhine-Westphalia office and commercial property market. Most recently, he worked as a senior transaction manager for a pan-European asset and investment manager in Düsseldorf, where he was responsible for strategic acquisitions and sales in the DACH region. Prior to that, he spent nearly a decade in JLL's Capital Markets team, supporting numerous office investment transactions for national and international investors.

North Rhine-Westphalia is one of Germany's highest-volume commercial property markets, and Düsseldorf has firmly established itself as an international office location. Despite challenging conditions, the office and commercial property market offers attractive opportunities, especially for investors with a long-term perspective. Against this backdrop, Jan-Peter Dähn will play an important role in the further expansion of Cushman & Wakefield's regional office capital markets activities.

Daniel Sander, Head of Office Capital Markets Germany at Cushman & Wakefield, says: ‘The commercial property market in North Rhine-Westphalia – and Düsseldorf in particular as an office location – is one of the most important property regions in Germany. In Jan-Peter Dähn, we are gaining a partner who has known this market for many years and who can confidently guide investors even in challenging market phases.’

Simon Jeschioro, Head of Capital Markets Germany at Cushman & Wakefield, says: "With the addition of Jan-Peter Dähn, Cushman & Wakefield is specifically strengthening its presence in one of Germany's most important real estate clusters and deepening the integration between local market expertise in Düsseldorf and North Rhine-Westphalia and the nationwide office investment platform headed by Daniel Sander. With Jan-Peter Dähn, we are underlining our commitment to advising institutional investors in the office and commercial property market with a regional focus and an international network."
