Staff expansion in the Office Agency division in Germany in full swing

Verena Bauer • 16/06/2025

Cushman & Wakefield, a global real estate consulting firm, is continuing to expand its Office & Leasing division in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, and Munich.

“Cushman & Wakefield is continuing to drive forward staff expansion in strategically relevant business lines. By the fourth quarter of 2025, our Office Agency team, including support staff, will have grown by around 15 new colleagues compared to the end of December 2024,” explains Pierre Nolte, Head of Offices & Leasing Germany at Cushman & Wakefield.Nolte continues: “We are seeing the office rental market continue to pick up and the demand for consulting services increase due to the diverse challenges in the office sector on both the user and owner sides. In the first quarter, sales volume in the ‘Big 5’ cities rose by 16 percent compared to the same period last year. This trend continues in the second quarter. The expansion of our teams is therefore coming at exactly the right time to take full advantage of the market's momentum. Our growth extends to both the teams in the Big 5 cities and the National Team, which serves supra-regional clients throughout Germany.”

At the beginning of 2025, Jonas Kildau joined as an Associate with the Frankfurt office Cushman & Wakefield's National Leasing Team, led by Nicolas Heisig, Head of Office Agency National.

Office Agency Berlin with the strongest growth

The Office Agency Team Berlin, led by Dominic Rausch, will have welcomed five new employees by August:

  • Tabea Wadewitz will join as an Associate at the beginning of August 2025.
  • Lamis Baydoun started as a Senior Consultant on June 1.
  • Lukas Janik has been with the team as a Junior Consultant since May 1.
  • Phuong Anh Nguyen will join the team as a Junior Consultant on June 1.
  • Tim Junge will also join as a Junior Consultant on August 1.

Further reinforcements in Frankfurt, Munich, Düsseldorf, and Hamburg

The team in Frankfurt, led by Hanjo Theiss, was expanded on May 1, 2025, with Kevin Weber as a Consultant and Sophie Stroh as a Junior Consultant.

In Munich, Claudia Deimel will join the team led by Matthias Hofmann as an Associate starting 1 August. Another new hire is planned in the course of the year.

The team led by Martin Höfler, Head of Office Agency Düsseldorf, has also seen a personnel change: Jan Merten transferred internally from the Industrial division to join as an Associate on 1 January.

In Hamburg, Vera Passade assumed her new position as Head of Office Agency on May 1. The team is complemented by Bastian Poppe, who started as an Associate on June 1. Furthermore, Viktor Groetz will join the team as a consultant on October 1, 2025.
“We have embarked on a clear growth course, which we are pursuing consistently.  Nevertheless, it remains essential for all new hires to be in line with our holistic, data-based consulting approach and our strategic realignment. We see the results as clear confirmation that we are on the right track,” Pierre Nolte concludes.
