Cushman & Wakefield appoints Head of Office Investment Germany

Martin Polifke • 25/09/2025

Sander joins management team from 1 October 2025

Daniel Sander has been appointed International Partner and new Head of Office Investment Germany by Cushman & Wakefield, the international real estate services provider, with effect from 1 October 2025. In this role, Sander will be responsible for all of Cushman & Wakefield's activities relating to the marketing, recapitalisation and acquisition of office properties on behalf of national and international institutional clients. Sander will report to Simon Jeschioro, Head of Capital Markets & Investment Advisory Germany at Cushman & Wakefield.

Most recently, Sander has been a Managing Director in the Capital Markets division at CBRE since 2022. His other positions include Apleona, J.P. Morgan and Linklaters in various positions in Real Estate and Capital Markets.

With the appointment of Daniel Sander, Cushman & Wakefield is able to comprehensively cover the office sector - one of its strategic focus sectors - also in the area of investment with management personnel operating throughout Germany and to further promote the close integration between office letting and investment - nationally and regionally - in a targeted manner.

Simon Jeschioro, Head of Capital Markets & Investment Advisory Germany at Cushman & Wakefield, said: "Daniel Sander is a strategic hire – a proven expert whose deep understanding of capital structures enhances the support we provide to clients." Jeschioro continues: "Complexity in the office sector, due to decreased book values, changed requirements for equity and debt, and high investment needs in the portfolios, demands a comprehensive understanding of creative solutions from a professional real estate advisor. The combination of Daniel Sander's expertise, our local office teams, and our debt advisory capabilities enables us to precisely address this advisory gap. At the same time, the integration of the team into the international Cushman & Wakefield structure is an important factor in capturing changing global trends and maintaining close proximity to internationally active investors."

Pierre Nolte, Head of Germany and Head of Office & Leasing Germany at Cushman & Wakefield, said: "With the appointment of Daniel Sander as Head of Office Investment Germany, we are setting a clear signal for the further development and growth of our business in Germany. With his experience and expertise in dealing with institutional investors, he will specifically respond to the changed market conditions in the office sector and further expand our teams."
Daniel Sander, incoming Head of Office Investment Germany at Cushman & Wakefield, said: "I am very much looking forward to the new task at Cushman & Wakefield and the cooperation with a highly qualified team in a dynamic market environment. The requirements for office properties and their investors are changing rapidly – this is exactly where I see great potential to score with innovative and structured solutions, such as joint ventures. My goal is to break new ground together with our clients and position Cushman & Wakefield as the leading contact for the sell and buyside advice as well as recapitalization of office investments in Germany."
