Martin Polifke • 29/06/2026
  • Nolte, who currently leads the firm’s German business, will also assume responsibility for the Netherlands as of 1 July 2026.
  • Following a structured handover period, Annelou de Groot, current Head of Netherlands, will leave the company.

Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Pierre Nolte as Head of Germany & Netherlands, expanding his remit to include the firm’s Dutch operations. Following a structured transition period, Annelou de Groot will leave the company.

Nolte, an Executive Partner at Cushman & Wakefield, has been with the firm since 2014 and has held various leadership roles. In August 2026, he was appointed Head of Germany. Prior to that, he served as Head of Offices & Leasing in Germany and Head of Tenant Representation, EMEA.

Matthew Bouw, Chief Executive, APAC & EMEA, Cushman & Wakefield, said: “Cushman & Wakefield has a long and successful track record in the Netherlands. Alongside Germany, the Netherlands is one of our most important and strategically significant markets for both us and our clients. With his expanded responsibilities, Pierre will, through his focus on performance and clients, further strengthen our growth momentum across both markets and enhance the quality of our services. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Annelou for her dedication and outstanding contribution — not only as Head of Netherlands, but also as a member of our APAC & EMEA Executive Leadership Team. I wish her every success in the next stage of her career.”
Nolte will relocate his primary residence to the Netherlands, while continuing to work regularly across the firm’s offices in Germany, the Netherlands and the wider European region.

Pierre Nolte, Head of Germany & Netherlands, Cushman & Wakefield, said: “It is a great honour for me to take on these expanded responsibilities. Cross-border collaboration has been a defining element throughout my career. At the same time, it is important to us that both countries retain their local identity and remain firmly rooted in their respective markets — Dutch in the Netherlands and German in Germany. With strong teams in both countries and the support of our global platform, we are ideally positioned to seize the growth opportunities ahead together with our clients.”
