The property is currently leased to the world-renowned high-end brand Brunello Cucinelli.
Built in 1926, Palazzo della Borsa was the former seat of the Venice Stock Exchange and Chamber of Commerce. The building is distinguished by its monumental façades richly adorned with decorative elements and interiors in Liberty style.
Zaka Investments acquired the property in 2017 through a public auction and undertook a meticulous restoration to develop the Nolinski Venezia Hotel, the first Evok Hotel outside France, and a new luxury retail boutique operated by Brunello Cucinelli, the Italian brand celebrated for its timeless elegance, refined craftsmanship, and ethical values. The boutique officially opened in May 2024. The store spans approximately 560 sqm across the ground and first floors.
The open-market sale process, managed by Cushman & Wakefield on behalf of Zaka Investment, commenced in late 2024 and successfully closed on 1 October 2025. The legal advisors have been DLA Piper for the seller and Greenberg Traurig for the buyer.
“The transaction confirms the strong interest of international investors in Italy’s high-end retail market, – says Andrea Orsa, Head of Capital Markets Retail at C&W Italy – with Venice increasingly establishing itself as a strategic destination for luxury.”
