LF Sakai: Lease-Up Fund

01 The Challenge

Cushman & Wakefield helped to uncover investment opportunities for a logistics facility saddled with vacancies in Sakai, Osaka. Through the partnership we created a leasing plan, a finance plan, and an exit plan, as well as sounding out investors for funding. The plan and comprehensive strengths were evaluated, funding was accepted, and fundraising was commenced.

  • Recovering from an unexpected typhoon-related disaster after the project closed, we moved forward with leasing faster than initially planned.

02 The Solution

The following comprehensive strengths were exhibited:

  • Sourcing that uncovered opportunities between parties
  • investment plans formulated from sourcing to exit
  • Expertise in logistics facility leasing
  • Deep experience in mid-term management

03 The Result

Through the partnership Cushman & Wakefield executed the leasing and cost reduction project with great skill, optimizing the fund performance.
