Cushman & Wakefield Portugal announced today the promotion of Ana Gomes, Sílvia Vicente and Amílcar Silva to European partners of the firm.
Ana Gomes has been with Cushman & Wakefield for 20 years. She began her career as Head of Industrial and Logistics and, since 2018, has served as Head of Urban Promotion and Redevelopment. She is a highly experienced real estate professional and has been involved in some of the most significant transactions in the Portuguese market, having negotiated around 400,000 sqm of warehouses, 250,000 sqm of industrial facilities for conversion, and over 1,000,000 sqm of land for all types of projects. In the past three years, she has been responsible for the sale of more than 100,000 sqm of land for residential and student housing projects in Lisbon and Porto, as well as for the sale of multiple buildings for redevelopment, particularly in Lisbon. She holds a degree in Geography and Regional Planning from Universidade Nova de Lisboa and the University of Aberdeen.
Sílvia Vicente joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2004 in the Research & Consultancy department. In 2011, she moved to the Valuation & Advisory team, where she specialized in commercial real estate valuation, with a particular focus on retail and office properties. In 2019, she was appointed Head of Advisory & Retail Valuation, where she has led highest and best use studies, market studies for alternative uses such as student and senior housing, feasibility and conversion studies, strategic portfolio analyses for owners and occupiers, and shopping centre valuations. She holds a degree in Management from ISEG (Lisbon School of Economics and Management) and a Postgraduate Degree in Real Estate Management and Valuation, also from ISEG. She has been a member of the RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) since 2014 and served on the RICS Portugal Board from 2017 to 2019.
Amílcar Marques da Silva has been part of Cushman & Wakefield’s Office team since 2005, managing the leasing of several landmark projects in the Portuguese market. He has participated in some of the most important office leasing deals in Portugal over the past decade, with recent highlights including the sales of the new headquarters of Ageas, Cofidis, and Fidelidade in Lisbon. Over the past 15 years, his client portfolio has included JP Morgan, UBS, Sonae, Fosun, Martinhal Group, ABANCA, Teixeira Duarte, Boehringer Ingelheim, among others. He holds a degree in Management from ISEG and a postgraduate degree in Finance with a specialization in Real Estate from ISCTE.
