Aupark Shopping Center in Bratislava has long ranked among the most successful retail destinations in Central Europe. It consistently places at the top in terms of footfall and turnover among shopping centers in Slovakia. With nearly 250 stores across more than 65,000 sq m, it attracts millions of visitors every year. Thanks to its excellent accessibility and a wide selection of both premium and mainstream brands, Aupark enjoys a loyal customer base who return time and again for a unique, high-quality shopping experience.
As of June 2025, Cushman & Wakefield has taken over the property management and leasing of the center. "Alongside Aupark, we have also added four other regional shopping centers to our management portfolio in 2025. Our retail leasing team is expanding to six experienced professionals who actively support leasing activities across all managed properties. Over the past decade, we have brought more than 20 new retail brands to the Slovak market, and we look forward to further enhancing Aupark’s already exceptional tenant mix with exciting new names," says Tomáš Némethy, Managing Partner at Cushman & Wakefield Slovakia.
The shareholders of Aupark Bratislava are the investment companies WOOD & Company and Tatra Asset Management (TAM). Their joint objective is to ensure that Aupark maintains and further strengthens its position as the most successful shopping center in Slovakia.
The Same Place, Even Better
The shopping center recently underwent a major transformation, including a 10,000 sq m extension. This expansion introduced new retail concepts and some of the largest stores for select brands in Central and Eastern Europe, including Zara, H&M, Reserved, Cinema City, and others. The new section also features a unique green façade, which not only adds architectural interest but also integrates sustainable elements that enhance the urban environment.
Aupark continues to be what it has always been: the place where Bratislava meets. Only what can be improved will change, such as the daily experience of both visitors and tenants. Backed by strong expertise and close collaboration, the center is entering the next chapter of its development, ready to embrace new challenges and seize fresh opportunities.
