CBRE Global Investors had incurred an extremely high vacancy rate of 38% on their building. This was driving away many major investors.

As sellers, CBRE Global Investors needed to select preferred bidders, and negotiate on the Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA).

Cushman & Wakefield was retained as a disposition adviser to attract potential investors and high biddings.

Our team also took beneficiaries and lessors around the property, highlighting its potential value increase as an asset.

As a part of our advisory services, we emphasised the high rental demand on the asset, thus deriving interest from major AMCs that run Core Blind.

03 THE RESULT

Cushman & Wakefield eventually pitched Mirae Asset Global Investments as the preferred bidder.

The right bidder selection led CBRE Global Investors recording the highest rent rate per peyeong in one of the main areas of Seoul.

Cushman & Wakefield also facilitated numerous paperwork requirements including the MOU, Due Diligence and SPA negotiations smoothly, speeding up timeline to exceed the client’s expectations.
