Nearly 3.9 GW of additional capacity is expected by 2030, requiring ~USD $30 billion in development capital, driven by rising data consumption, AI and cloud adoption, and expansion by hyperscalers, colocation operators and enterprises.
Government support is also strengthening the ecosystem, with measures around infrastructure status, financing, land, power availability and renewable energy enabling the sector's expansion. This, along with the footprint spreading beyond established hubs into Tier-II and Tier-III cities and recent investments from leading global and domestic players, is adding to the momentum.
