NESTLE: Acquiring land in tandem with growth

THE CHALLENGE

Nestle Indonesia (NID) had plans to expand its production capacity and this was planned together with the construction of its fourth factory in Indonesia.

Cushman & Wakefield acted for NID by conducting searches, as well as vetting and analysing potential plots of land for Nestle.

THE SOLUTION

Nestle’s operational requirements required a total of 28.8 hectares of land. We reviewed and negotiated for land dealerships on behalf of Nestle, paying particular attention to the real estate, technical, and legal implications of the deal.

THE RESULT

Nestle was able to secure the required land in a quick and cost-effective manner. Nestle rated the partnership with Cushman & Wakefield a four star rating, with Nestle to apply the success in this project as a benchmark for other future projects.
