Cushman & Wakefield moves to TRIIIO Hamburg

Verena Bauer

The Hamburg office of international real estate consultancy firm Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) is moving next year. The new location is TRIIIO Hamburg. Here, the company has lease just under 700 square metres of office space on the 9th floor. The move is necessitated by C&W's Hamburg team having doubled in size to around 40 in the past five years.

TRIIIO Hamburg will provide the C&W team with significantly more space. The modern office with its panoramic view over Germany's second-largest city will provide the employees with an even more attractive working environment. The company is also maintaining the high quality standards set by its design team in the development and fit-out of its Berlin office last year and its Düsseldorf office before that. C&W is hereby continuing to consistently implement its New Work concept.

"Today, an office where employees are pleased to work and highly productive requires a unique design and an attractive concept. This is the only way to make it an asset that attracts young talent and promotes identification with the company. In TRIIIO Hamburg, one of Hamburg’s classic architectural landmarks, we can implement and deliver exactly that," Tobias Scharf, Head of Office Agency Hamburg, describing the demands on new office space.

"I am delighted with the positive development our team has undergone over the past few years. This benefits our clients, who can now be served even more individually. I am convinced that we will continue to see our team grow in the future. There is definitely room for this in 'TRIIIO Hamburg'," adds Marc Rohrer, Head of Capital Markets Hamburg and Head of C&W's Hamburg branch.

The solitaire "TRIIIO Hamburg" is a landmark ensemble at Willy-Brandt-Strasse 59. The property, which was built in 1964, is currently undergoing extensive modernisation and re-letting. After completion of the conversion work in the first quarter of 2023, the property, which is owned by Union Investment, will provide around 19,500 square metres of lettable space. It originally consisted of a 15-storey high-rise, a two-storey connecting building and a further six-storey building. This three-part ensemble has been listed since 2011. In 2016, it was completely renovated technically and energetically and extended by the addition of a seven-storey office building.

Situated on a major artery between the city centre and the Speicherstadt and HafenCity districts, the property not only impresses via its central location, but is also easily accessible by public transport, road and bicycle route. There are also numerous restaurants and shopping amenities in the immediate vicinity.
