Cushman & Wakefield has promoted Pere Morcillo to International Partner, in recognition of his long-standing career in the industrial and logistics real estate sector and his contribution to the growth and positioning of the firm within one of its strategic areas.
With an extensive professional background, Pere Morcillo has consolidated his position as one of the leading figures in the industrial and logistics market in Spain, with wide-ranging experience in the development and execution of strategic transactions in this sector. Notable recent assignments include advising on the establishment of Solo Midocean’s logistics hub in Tarragona, which generated more than 250 new jobs, as well as supporting Danish operator Normal in the launch of its first logistics centre in Spain, also in Tarragona—a project involving an investment of €20 million and the creation of 300 jobs. He has also played a key role in several land sale transactions for the development of data centres nationwide, an asset class that is gaining increasing prominence in the market.
