Luis Arsuaga Named Partner in Charge of Capital Markets Hospitality

Jenny Pizarro • 19/04/2026
With over 20 years of hospitality investment experience, Luis Arsuaga joins the leadership team of the firm's hospitality platform in Spain, alongside Bruno Hallé and Albert Grau, reinforcing its presence in the Iberian market.

The executive, with more than 20 years of experience in hotel investment and development, will strengthen Cushman & Wakefield’s positioning in a key market for Iberia.

In his new role, Arsuaga will lead Cushman & Wakefield’s hospitality platform in Spain together with Bruno Hallé and Albert Grau.
Real estate consultancy Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Luis Arsuaga as Partner in charge of Capital Markets Hospitality in Spain, with the aim of strengthening its Hospitality platform, one of the company’s strategic growth pillars in Spain and across Iberia.

In his new role, Arsuaga will lead the hospitality platform together with Bruno Hallé and Albert Grau. This appointment reflects Cushman & Wakefield’s continued commitment to building a best-in-class team in a sector that is key to the Spanish economy.

“We firmly believe that sustainable growth is built by attracting the best professionals in the market, combining experience, investment vision and operational expertise. With this step, we continue to strengthen our ability to support our clients with greater depth, ambition and impact in a sector that is essential to the Spanish economy,” says Oriol Barrachina, Head of Iberia at Cushman & Wakefield.

According to Arsuaga, “I look forward to contributing my experience in the hotel investment market to the firm, alongside the strong existing team, and to making the most of the very positive moment the sector is going through.” Spain closed the previous year with more than €4 billion in hotel investment, 50% more than in 2024, ranking second only to the UK at a European level, according to Cushman & Wakefield data.

This appointment follows other recent strategic hires at the firm, such as Álvaro Alonso as Head of Living and Corporate Finance in Spain, in line with Cushman & Wakefield’s strategy to strengthen its investment and advisory capabilities in key segments such as Hospitality and Residential.

An expert profile in the hotel investment market

Luis Arsuaga has more than two decades of experience in the real estate and hospitality sector, with a solid track record in development, investment, transactions and asset management. Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles at companies such as CBRE and JLL, where he led the hotels business in Spain and Portugal. He subsequently served as SVP Global Development at NH Hotel Group (Minor Hotels), leading international expansion, and more recently as CEO of Mabel Capital and Managing Director of Grupo Norvo, where he managed investment platforms with diversified portfolios of hotels, resorts and real estate assets, combining strategic vision with long-term value creation.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Hospitality division in Spain was created in 2019 and is led by partners and co-heads Albert Grau and Bruno Hallé.
