Cushman & Wakefield proposed a senior Project Manager with experience in major office fit-out projects of the highest quality. Given that the building has highly specific technical requirements, the owner Pontegadea insists on prior approval of all fit-out projects before commencement of works. It is important to point out that in the case of the 14th floor it was necessary to fit the works into periods in which the existing meeting rooms in the remainder of the floor were not in use, therefore requiring night-time and weekend working, as well as works during the month of August.
In tandem, and with the project monitoring assistance of C&W, the client likewise decided to renovate the offices at Castellana 50, carrying out activities to improve a number of spaces such as offices and the cafe, along with more specific areas aimed at creating three new meeting rooms and a medical/physiotherapy consultation room.
03 The Result
Scheduling proved to be one of the most significant and demanding challenges, works completion being required prior to the return of staff on September 1. It was essential to closely track the scheduling of the works in order to meet the client’s main requirement. The resulting look and layout of this floor now matches those already occupied by Perez-Llorca in the building.
