Abbott Laboratories Vietnam: Renewing Its Current Office

Cushman & Wakefield Vietnam was tasked with a relocation and renovation project for a global investment bank in Ho Chi Minh City. The client planned to move from its current 1,000 sqm office to a new space at Deutsche Haus – a new building in Ho Chi Minh City

This relocation was important to the bank as it signified a strategic partnership between Vietnam and Germany. It highlighted the bank’s presence within the German, local, and international communities in Vietnam.

However, communication was an issue because the teams involved were based in different countries and in different timezones. In addition, the procurement team had the challenge of selecting the right supplier as there were more than seven different packages from different vendors.

Cushman & Wakefield Vietnam brought together individuals with extensive project management experience expertise in relocation services to be part of the project. In doing so, the team was able to foresee and prevent all critical issues that would have obstructed the relocation process.

Despite facing a tight schedule, Cushman & Wakefield Vietnam was able to ensure a smooth relocation process for its client whilst keeping within the allocated budget.
