Ducati: Moving To A Bigger Dealership In Ho Chi Minh City
01 The Challenge
Global motorcycle manufacturer Ducati’s business is booming in Vietnam. However, its Saigon store was located in a small building with limited space for years. To follow their Saigon branch’s success and expand their business, Ducati planned to relocate their first dealership to a larger venue.
Ducati approached Cushman & Wakefield to look for a 10,000-square-feet space with two levels. The building would be primarily used as a showroom and office. Ducati also wanted a concept of the space not being just a store but also an event space.
The required location is within an urban district with high traffic flow, high visibility, and wide store frontage.
02 The Solution
Cushman & Wakefield searched available sites around District 3 and Tan Binh, evaluating private buildings that fit the required frontage and had one or two levels.
After examining potential sites, we negotiated with the landlord of a building that met Ducati’s required frontage and had a big parking lot next to the city stadium. We succeeded in securing a lease for Ducati to build their flagship dealership in Ho Chi Minh City.
03 The Result
After more than a year of searching and negotiating, Cushman & Wakefield closed the deal for Ducati to relocate to their new Ho Chi Minh dealership.
The showroom is a standalone flagship store and is the brand’s largest showroom not only in Vietnam but also in all Southeast Asia.
