HAGL in Myanmar: Increasing Occupancy Rate To More Than 90%

Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAGL), a conglomerate headquartered in Vietnam, was seeking real estate management services in Myanmar.

Cushman & Wakefield acted as a consultant and the sole leasing agent for the client’s retail spaces in Yangon. We scouted and assessed potential tenants for the client’s space.

Cushman & Wakefield conducted research and provided key insights on trends and spending habits in Myanmar, which helped in persuading tenants to lease available units. Part of our work for the client involved collating relevant information and relaying it to the client, which helped them better understand local conditions.

We identified, negotiated and facilitated the signing of the tenancy agreements on behalf of our client. This increased the occupancy rate to more than 90%.
