SYDNEY – Cushman & Wakefield, in partnership with What Ability Foundation, is proud to announce a Free Community Day at Taronga Zoo for What Ability community members on Thursday, 30 October 2025.

This special event celebrates inclusion, connection, and community spirit, welcoming families and individuals living with disabilities to enjoy a day of discovery and joy at one of Sydney’s most iconic destinations.

Building on the success of the past three years, including initiatives such as Wild Lights and a range of community engagement programs, Cushman & Wakefield remains jointly dedicated to enhancing accessibility for all Taronga guests. Through this enduring partnership, both organisations continue to provide tailored experiences such as accessibility guides, visual stories, and educational signage, ensuring every visitor enjoys a meaningful and enriching experience.

Guests will begin their adventure at 9:45am, receiving a Taronga Zoo Passport to collect stamps as they explore the diverse animal exhibits. The day will be filled with engaging activities, including games, photo opportunities with athlete stars, and interactive experiences on the Helmore Lawns alongside professional athletes.

A highlight of the day will be the Inclusive Seal Show at 1:00pm in the Seal Amphitheatre - an entertaining and educational performance designed for all to enjoy and meet and greet with NRL, Netball and AFL athletes.

Anna Town, Global Head of Brand Strategy at Cushman & Wakefield, said, “Our partnership with Taronga Zoo is built on shared values of sustainability, community, and inclusion. From lighting up the Zoo during Wild Lights to hosting this Community Day with What Ability Foundation, we’re proud to continue creating meaningful experiences that bring people together.

“Accessibility is not a one-time initiative, it’s a long-term commitment to ensuring everyone feels welcome and supported” she said.

Steve Dresler, Founder & Director of What Ability Foundation, added, “This day is all about connection, inclusion, and creating unforgettable memories. We’re grateful to Cushman & Wakefield for their partnership and shared vision in making this day possible for people living with a disability and their families.”

Cushman & Wakefield’s ongoing collaboration with Taronga Zoo reflects a shared mission to foster inclusive communities and create spaces where everyone can thrive. The Free Community Day is a testament to what’s possible when organisations unite to make a lasting impact.
