About

Benedikt Kiefer is a Associate within the Capital Markets team at Cushman & Wakefield, based in the firm's Frankfurt office. He focuses on sell-side and buy-side advisory across complex real estate portfolio transactions and alternative asset classes such as healthcare and operated living, working with institutional and semi-institutional investors navigating some of the most demanding deals in the German market.

Benedikt built his career within the Investment Advisory team, developing a specialism in structuring and executing large-scale portfolio transactions. His experience spans strategic business plan advisory and the sales and marketing of portfolios across all asset classes, giving him a rounded perspective on how transactions are structured from initial strategy through to closing. Over the course of his career, he has advised on a cumulative transaction volume exceeding €6 billion.

Benedikt's approach centres on combining rigorous market analysis with a deep understanding of the operational characteristics that distinguish alternative asset classes from more traditional real estate. This grounding allows him to advise clients on complex, multi-asset portfolios where operational performance, regulatory context, and strategic positioning all shape value. He is recognised within the firm as the lead for life science real estate in Germany, reflecting his focus on this specialised and increasingly significant segment of the market.

Working from Frankfurt, Benedikt covers the full breadth of the German market with no fixed geographic focus, advising clients on transactions across the country's core and regional locations alike.

His sector coverage spans portfolio transactions of all kinds, with a particular concentration in alternative asset classes, notably healthcare real estate and purpose-built student accommodation, both valued for their operational complexity. Within this remit, his leadership of life science real estate advisory in Germany positions him at the forefront of a sector defined by specialist occupier requirements and long-term structural demand, complementing the firm's broader Capital Markets offering.
