Michael Clayton is a Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) with over fifteen years’ experience in commercial building consultancy; project management; and cost management.

Michael is Cost Management Lead for Germany & Switzerland, based in Berlin, where he is responsible for managing the cost management services provided to his clients. Michael has a large and varied amount of experience, which includes working as a consultant and client-side for a Property Investor and Developer. This breadth and depth of experience enables him to deliver the complex and challenging responsibilities demanded of this role.

Michael and his team provide commercial support throughout all project stages, from feasibility to execution, contributing to the successful financial delivery of construction projects.

In his current position, Michael specializes in office interior fit-out and commercial real estate projects for international clients. However, his team contains project cost specialists able to support projects across all asset classes, including office, industrial, logistics, data center, residential, retail, and mixed-use developments.

Michael has a reputation for being forensic and detailed in my approach; while being pragmatic, commercial, and able to see the situation through the eyes of my clients. He has an interest in technology and is an advocate of utilization of this technology to increase the efficiency and accuracy of the services his team provides.
