Strong Growth in the Swedish Real Estate Market with Transaction Volume Up 60% in the First Half of 2026
STOCKHOLM, 21 August, 2026 – The Swedish real estate market demonstrated a remarkable recovery during the first half of 2026, maintaining a high level of activity despite continued global economic uncertainty. Transaction volume in the Swedish market totalled SEK 120.5 billion during H1 2026, an increase of 60% compared with the same period last year and the strongest first-half performance since 2021. A total of 322 transactions were completed during the period, representing approximately 5.5 million square metres.
