Hospitality Sweden

Staffan Dahlén • 15/04/2026

Spring 2026

Welcome to the spring edition of Cushman & Wakefield’s Hospitality Sweden. Released semiannually, the report provides the latest data and insights into the Swedish hotel market, drawing on our extensive market expertise.

The Swedish hotel sector has moved from recovery into a more stable phase of expansion, supported by strong operational performance despite elevated financing costs and continued economic and geopolitical uncertainty. The report analyses key performance metrics, including occupancy, average room rates and RevPAR, and highlights how pricing has been the primary driver of growth.

Each edition also features a special theme. In this spring edition, the focus is on hotel demand drivers in European cities, offering valuable context for understanding long term trends and investment conditions in Sweden.

As the world continues to change rapidly, the ability to adapt to shifting demand patterns and structural change is becoming increasingly important. This report aims to provide decision makers with clear insights to navigate these developments.

Enjoy the read, and do not hesitate to reach out to our hospitality team.
